IT Support Agreements

I aim to give a understanding of the types of IT support agreement on offer in today’s market place. Additionally, time permitting, I will aim to list basic IT elements which should be in place for every organisation.

About Gary Holdsworth

I joined the IT industry in 1990 on a YTS Scheme and have worked for various IT resellers and Managed Print resellers. During these years I have studied Business and Finance at Bradford College gaining my BA (hons) degree in Business Administration and I have sat many industry training courses such as, Microsoft Server Sales Specialist, PaperCut Sales Specialist, Sophos Sales Specialist, HP print Sales Specialist, Canon Sales Specialist. In the 1990’s I built a client base from zero to a value of £1.5m turnover and sustained this for 9 years managing clients varying from small/medium business through to local government and enterprise sized organisations. For the last six years I have worked specifically with IT support and services providers, joining Biscuit IT in October 2018. I joined Biscuit IT as they are a young IT support provider, trading for almost three years and part of the Secure Technical Services Group, along with our sister company Yorkshire Telecommunications who have been trading for around thirty years. My role with Biscuit IT is Business Development Manager and I am tasked with expanding our client base of support agreements to grow the business. I am always looking to speak with any organisation who is struggling with IT and any current IT support provision.

Understanding The New Qualifications Framework

When interviewing students who have just passed their exams the change in qualification grading is distinctly different to anything that has been released previously. Chris will provide an explanation of what all the new qualifications mean, what to look for and how to interpret the meaning.
